VAT Compliance Diploma

In September 2005 The Institute of Indirect Taxation announced the launch of the VAT Compliance Diploma qualification.

The Institute acknowledges that with the merger of the revenue and customs departments and the philosophy of a “one stop” enquiry into the taxpayers affairs there is a need for a recognised qualification in the principles of VAT. The Institute’s Diploma qualification meets this need and is relevant to accounting and tax staff as well as former Inland Revenue personnel.  The Diploma will show that the holder has achieved a recognised level of training in the principles of VAT.

The Diploma is fully accredited by The Institute of Indirect Taxation and will give holders of the Diploma a professionally recognised level of achievement.

The Institute has entered into an exclusive agreement with LexisNexis Tolley Tax Training to provide study support for the Diploma qualification. LexisNexis Tolley Tax Training are a premier provider of VAT training in the UK.

The e-learning platform and computer based testing is being
provided by Online Tutors Limited, the e-learning specialist.
